Govt. High School is one of DE school in District Patiala. It came under DE in the year 2010.
Digital Equalizer (DE) program is
Techno-Pedagogy program that is bridging the education and digital divide in
India. Under DE teachers & students get training on Computer fundamentals,
Pedagogy (Critical Thinking, Creative Thinking, Multiple Intelligence &
Collaborative Learning) and Project based learning approaches. The program is
tightly integrated with the school curriculum thereby improving subject matter
expertise through the use of technology.
Head Master Views:-
I feel proud that DE Program is
running in our school. It provides the support to teachers to handle the computer and other technology
related works independently. Now my school teachers are able to prepare
projects, lesson plans as well as results of their classes in MS-Excel and
MS-PowerPoint. Through Pedagogy and technology we are successful to shifting our
student from passive learner to active connecter of
knowledge.
